The Bolivian National Police are planning a special covert investigation of
tha activities of Spanish Republican Vicente Burgaleta. This action was
decided upon after the return from Chile. of a member of the Bolivian National
police who participated in the arrest and interrogation of Francisco Liuch
tlrbano in Santiago. Much Urbana, a Spanish Corniunist, was arrepted in
Santiago in July 1149 and in his confes^i:on to the police discussed Communist
activities in Bolivia and Chile. At that time he declared, among other thin,
