About 2,500 crude oil and natural gas wells are in operation
in the production area of the WTOK, : 205I109and CORLICE
Districts, -!hick have remained under "olish soverei nty,
The present total annual output of crude oil is only about
2508000 tons, due to the e.haustion of these old fields
and the lack of ne,,a dr:.llinrs. Part of the natural gas
produced is supplied to consumers through a 600-mile net
of pipe lines and part is topped in distillation stations
