1. . train, coming from the direction of MBA.GGEBURG ('?" 53/Y GO),

passed through BURG (I 'V11 81) in the evening and proceeded
toward GENTHIN (M 53/Z 03). The train. had 25 boxcars, each
occupied by about 20 troops and of 40 flatcars carryin ; about
20 trucks, fifteen 3/4-ton trucks, 2 or 3 jeeps, eight 37-rim
antitank guns, 2 caterpillar tractors, 8 field kitchens and
several niotorcyoles. Several trucks with mounted AA machine

2. A train, carrying about fifteen 150-nun howitzers, -about 15
trucks, officers and troops (on 20 boxcars), was observed
standing in BIEID3RITZ (t 53/Y 70). The train vies headed
toward BURG.

I it is not possible
to identify the.units o_. the trains. However it can be assumed
with a high measure of certainty that the units were en route
to the area east of the Elbe River to participate in the
large-scale final maneuvers of the Third Shock Army.
