1. . Another specigl meeting was called on the night of 12 December 1949 by
Bolivian Fartido Inauierda Revolucionario (Flit) leaders for the purpose
of deciding whether or not the PIR would agree to a coalition of the Pit-is
''li'ft, and FOR parties and whether it would follow the Communist line.*
The meeting broke up at 2 o'clock on the morning of 13 December with a
aeries of riot fighter.
2. A third meeting was called for the night of 13 December to settle the
above Itisues.
3. Several unidentified Communists from Argentina, Peru, and Chile attended
the 12 December meeting. .dditional Communists from neighboring countries
were expected to be present at the meeting on 13 December.
