In August I +9, 20 tons of tungsten from Burma was offered in Hong Kong
' s? Thi0 tu3gsten, which was in a- Kow _Q _warehouae, is believed to
lctaeled @n the AZOV (a small Soviet freighter)*, but customs has
c r o it.
2. Ma ny inese traders in Hong Kong offer smug;lec1 tungsten in lots some-
tunes as 'small as 4-5 tons, and rarely over 150 tons. Often several dealers
try to sell the same lot.
3. Although some Mayan tin is shipped to Hong long, no significant amounts of
.tin from Thailand are transshipped there, and no tungsten from ThaiLo.nd has
appeared iii Hong Kong.
