One large office building has already been built,and two modern buildings, to be used as billDts., are now under construction at Prottes, In a month, when the SW motor pool at Prottes has been completed, the Matzen Drilling Section, Bau and Montage, and mechani- cal repair shops will be established in Protteso ,`aMV administrative offices have already been established in the vicinity of Matzen well. Most of the vehicles now being used at Matzen have/temporarily requisitioned from the SMV motor pool at Neusiedl and an SLAV motor pool in Vienna:, At present the SMV has 1.5 trucks, seven tractors and two Willys jeeps at Matzen, 4, With the exception of the G. Rumpel A,G, drilling firm, which has been in- corporated into Matzengs Drilling Section, all SMV drilling units have been combined in the Sl'V Drilling Department at Zistersdorf under the supervision of SUlCHOVV, a Soviet engineer, The SMV Drilling Department is now drilling two wells in the Muehlberg fields. Both the SMV Drilling Department and Matzen c s Drilling Section are under the direct supervision of V. I. KORNEYi'V in SMV Headquarters,,* In the near future, the SAV expects to receive nine new drilling rigs, equipped with two 160 HP Diesel motors and two slush pumps, which were ordered from the Soviet Union about three months ago,, When these rigs arrive the Siff will have a total of 27 drilling rigs in Austrian oil fields.
