The Chiloan Police are maintaining a clone surveilLance on three retired generals who are suspected of conspiring against the Gonzalez Videla govern- ^ient. These are Jorge I3orguno a anesess, Uoracio Arancibia Lazo and Oscar F'uontes Pantoja. 2. General Derguno geneses, who has 'Lived in Argentina since his implication in the unsuccessful 11ovenber 194E revolutionary plot, returned incognito to Santiago on 23 Docembor 1949. 3. General Arancibia Lazo also returned recently from Enos Aires where he was said to be in close contact with President Peron and with fl on Vorgara iTontero, a retired colonel who was also involved in the November 1948 plot. 4.
