REPORT NO.
1. The SS BELLUNO,Italian registry, arrived in Trieste on
with a cargo of 999,744 kilograms of high grade refractory chrome ore
from, Turkey.
2? Shipped by Biligin Malden Lim:,ted, Iskenderun, Turkey, and handled in
Trieste by Billitz, via Geppa L, 920 metric tons of this cargo were
destined for the Veitscher Lagnesitwerke, Trieben, British Zone of Austria.
3. The remainder of the shipment, destined for the same company, was to be
delivered to 'Vartberg, unidentified zone of Austria.
The SS SOLEN, Yugoslav registry, operated by the Russo shipping agency.,
arrived in Trieste on 2 January 1950 with a cargo of 750 metric tons of
chrome ore loaded at Derince, Turkey.
6 The SS LOIEDAN, Italian registry, arrived in Trieste on 3 January 1950
with a cargo of 1,000 tons of chrome ore also loaded at Derinceo
Gin order of the Ithalat Komisyon in Istanbul to the Yugoslav Passenger
Line, Rijeka, the ore was shipped by Orhand Brand. The ore was handled in
Trieste by Billitz and was destined for the Oesterreichische Amerikaniwch?
;:agnesitwerke, Radenthein, Austria. The entire shipment was dispatched to
the railroad station at Ferndorf (sic), Austria.
7. Shipped by Orhand Brand on order of Surekasi, Istanbul, the ore was
handled in Trieste by Billitz and was destined for the Vitscher Magnesit-
werke, Vienna, Austria. However) 920 tons were dispatched to Trieben in
the British Zone of Austria, and the remainder to .Flartberg.
