Ruins were northwest of this section, probably destroyed cantonment buildings, There were no indications of a landing field or technical airfield instal- lations. The fenced-off area was surrounded by gardens and fields. the canton- ment buildings had previously been utilized as a discharge camp for returning PGs. Alleges ly, only two policemen were now quartered in the cantonment buildings.
