THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
After a conference of the State Administrative Council in Peiping in late
November 1949, JAO Chu shih (i~r T chairman of the East China Mili-
tf%ry and Political Commission and. SU Yu vice chairman of-the
Commission, returned to Shanghai on 11 December and called a conference of
the Commission. About thirty members in Shanghai attended, including CHA:?G
Yuen-chi ( %~ / ) , LI Yu (` and. HSI? i Hsueh-chu ( .j f ) .
