a? The former Artillerie Kasorne on the western side of high-
way Noy, 109x, i,renziau (N 54/Q 04), was occupied to ce aci ty
by troops with tank insignia on 9 November 1949:, About
150 unarmed soldiers carrying light baggage left the lecaserne
in small groups and went to the railroad station on 9 and
10 TNNovetiber 1949, The troops boarded trains leaving toward
Berlin.

to 3,000 troops fell in for a review on that day, Groups
of 30 to 35 soldiers were seen at basic infantry training in
the immediate vicinity of the kaserne
Soldiers wearing tank insignia and some soldiers wearing
artillery insignia were observed:;

by about 2,500 troops on 15 November 1949;. Troops underwent
basic trainin both with and without rifles in the kasorne
