built or reconstructed by German and Italian prisoners of war:

Constructed (1945) with concrete piers and
a wood road surface. Length about 50 meters,
wide enough to permit the passage of a single
car.
Similar to Librazhd Bridge. Built in 1945.
About 150 rieters long, and built during 1945-
1946,, wide enough for one cur. There are side-
walks on each side of the roadway. The bridge
is constructed entirely of concrete, and is
supported on eight concrete piers,
Length about 50 =eters, wide enough for two
cars to pass each other. Iron, supported on
contra -,e? piers. Half of the bridge is pulled
back on each side by cranes, and then returned
to its original position; this is done chiefly
in the winter when the river overflows, curry-
ing with it tree trunks and other objects.
Construction began in 1045, and was completed in
1946.
Length 30 motors, wide enough for one car only.
Constructod (i94G) of concrete.
About 500 meters lon?f, 4 r.:e4ers tide, constructed
(1946) of reinforced iron, and is supported on
15 or 16 concrete piers

car only. Constructed (1946) of concrete,
with steel roadway; supported on 15 concrete
piers, with about 10 trusses.
Conorote and iron, about 50 voters long, wide
enough for one care It is supported on six
piers of concrete, and road surface is of
concrete. Constructed in 1945-46.
Zog Bridge, on the wagon- About 300 meters long, and ride e:xough 'for
road from Tirana to Shkoder, one car only. Concrete and iron, it is
near Milot., on the Fan River. supported on 20 piers of concrete; the road
surface is of concrete. On either side of
the roadway there are railings of concrete
and iron about 4 (sic) meters high vi th slabs
of concrete on top like a roof, These slabs
are 0?40 meters apart.
