1. A construction site was noticed on the eastern edge of the
25X1 C

Finsterwalde (N 52/A 15) airfield. About 10 train-engine planes
were still parked at the southwestern corner of the field, The
hangars were closed. Trucks and passenger
car i were seen.
2, .A trustworthy local resident said that a train with about 200
Soviet Air Force troops arrived about two weeks before. Some of
them, Soviet officers and employees, had allegedly been previously
stationed in Finsterv'alde,

a, Two regiments of the III Bmr Corps are assumed to be stationed
at the F insteriaalde airfield. The reported
are assigned to these units,
b. The arriv. al of air force personnel is reportedfor the first
time. There are no indications that the g7,ound attack units pre-
viously stationed at the field are being retransferred to T'inster-
walde. Construction work on the eastern edge of the landing field
was confirmed by other sources. It has not been ascertained whether
the landing field is being expanded to the east.
