REPORT NO.
1., The airfield was north of a small railroad station which was
about 1 kn northwest of the town border of Parnu (214029?E/
58023v1\0 (sae Annex) ,
2. The field was divided into a large west section and a small
east section by 6 single=track railroad line leading from
Parnu to Lavrasaaar?e (24020'E/58046'N). The surrounding
terrain was level. An alley ran along the western edge of

on the western eidL Of the field ,tiost of the railroad

field bunkers,, including the so-called headquarters bunker
and the switchboard bunker. The renaiining bunkers were
billets for soldiers. 'f',h4enty villa-like buildings, occupied
by air force officers, were along the alley or. the western

The lending field n about 2 x 3 km was being drained by Ft,s;
a runways about 2 km lang was under construction; a 150-cm
excavation was given a layer of rubble, a second layer of
broken stones and and gravel, and a top asphalt layer of unknown
thickness
