1.
Soviet military supplies which arrived at South Station. Canton, on the
Canton-hankow Railroad were secretly moved in flies trucks to tihite Cloud
Airfield on the night of 6-4 April 1950. These supplies, in 100 large
oases, included Soviet bazockas and cannon which wore tested on the
eastern outskirts of Canton by Soviet gunners on 9 and 10 April 1950.

2. In early April 1950 about twenty Soviet technicians and more than thirty
Soviet gunners arrived in Canton by train. The soldiers were equipped with
Soviet Thompson submmohine guns. The technicians had 45 large oases,
measuring 12 by 4 feet, which contained parts of 20 airplanes. The cases
were taken directly to Vienho Airfield.
3. White Cloud Airfield is closely guarded by one regiment of Chinese Communist
troops, who keep pedestrians at a distance. Three hundred workers are
building hangars, in addition to another group of laborers who are engaged
in the construction of special protected hangars under the supervision of
Soviet engineers. The airfield has six anti-aircraft guns.
4. The repairs on Vienho Airfield have been completed, but more than a hundred
workers are still employed on hangar construction, believed to be of a special
type. The airfield is closely guarded by one battalion or Chinese Corsnunist
troops, and has four anti-aircraft guns on the south and three on the north.
