1. Comandamentul Politic is the Soviet political headquarters for all Soviet
agencies in Rumania and Bulgaria and is believed to be in
direct contact with the Soviet Politburo in Moscow. There is an unnamed
Soviet General in charge of this service.
2. The Comandamentul Politic occupied the house of Aspasia Luca at 28 Cuza
Voda street in Constanta, until September 1949, when it moved to the
former Damadian house .? Boulevard Republicei 30, also in Constan'a.
3. Even high ranking Soviet officers had to have special passes to enter
the building. The house was guarded by Soviet troops at all times.
