The Finow (N 53/V 08) airfield was observed from the east and from the tarred road running along the northern edge. There has been no flying since 25 February 1950. The following aircraft were parked at the field: On the eastern edge: 11 jet air craft and 1 raonoplane arobably also a Jet plane. On the northeastern edge: 7 jet aircraft facing west. On 'the northern edge of the debris site: 15 to 20 large fig,hters, 25 to 30 small fighters farther to the west, 8 biplanes and 18 Jet aircraft, Near the flight control station: 3 or 4 twin-engine transports. 2. A stationary radio and DE station was east of the field (see Annex).. German workers were doing clearing and improvement work on the cantonment buildings north of the field. The radar sets, previously seen near the Finow- flirt (1; 53/i 98) estate, were not set up. Sixty-five soldiers wearing black-bordered, blue epaulets were drilling near the farmayard in the morning. They were under the command of a second lieuterant. Ambulance and trucks \:ere seen leaving and entering the airfield. 3.
