1? By decree of the r'J4inistry of Industry, reference No. 670, dated 30 April
1949, the Central Directorate of the L1otalworking and ;kechanic l Engineer-
ing Industry has been relieved of its control of the combined i.' etalworking
and hecharaical Ehoineering Industry and has been reinvested with control of
only a specific section of this industry termed Heavy a~iechanical pngi=aeering.
Consequently, new central directorates were created for three newly established
sections of the industry. The L etalworking and Mechanical Lng:? neerinr Industry
has therefore been split up into four independent sections, each under control
of an indet:>endent central directorate, as follows:
