The following m5litary units and installations were noted in Krakow:
1. One infantry division.
2. One artillery regiment and other regiments such as an anti-aircraft gun
(Flak) reniment and an anti-tank Gun (Pak) regiment. Total strength was
about 15,000.
3. Onaartillery regiment, stationed at Czerwony Prodnik? a district in the
northeastern part of the city. The regiment consists of four divisions for
every four batteries. Each battery has three guns--122 mm. shoat howitzer
and 102 mm. field artillery. These guns are transported by means of cater-
pillar tractors. Between the suburbs (Czernony Prodnik) and Krakow stands an
old fortresa Which was built during Austrian rale. it is not used for military
purposes, but contains a political prison of the tiB.
A, A large barracks ,on Rahoulecka. They extend over four or five large bloOks?
are 25 x 80 m. in size, and have three or four stories. The buildings are
of red brick. Infantry troops are quartered in these barracks.
5. DC U (Doucdstue Okregu WojskouegoKrakow) is located in the Hotel Royal on Gert-
rude Street, opposite the "timer. Chief of DOW is General Moser, who is 52
years old, 1075 m. tall, and has dark-blond hair. Liaison officer is a Russian
colonel in Polish uniform; he is about 50 years of age, 1.72 14 tall, and bald.

with his Russian wife in a new, gray, four-story house situated on the corner
of Szpitalna and Thomasza Streets,
6, Flak Stations in KrakouPodgorze. Nab far from the Vistula River are the
mounds of. Kopiec Krakaaa and Kopiec Wendy, on which 82 - 122 xst. Flak guns
have been installed.
. Flak stations in Las Wolski, a woods on the left side of the road in the di-
rection of KatolrIce. Flak stations are also found on the mound known as
Kopiec Kosciuszki,? Which is near the ViaGula, and on the Kopiec Pilsudskiego
mound.
