1. Along the Astara River on the Soviet-Iranian border traffic along the
border road during the period 23-29 May 1.950 was apparently well under
the volume noted.c?urina, the period 16-22 May 1950.
2. In the vicinity of Ka-min (38-26N, 48-30E)? Ghermi (39-01N 48--03E), and
the Araxes xiver activity was normal from 23 to 29 ray 19 0.
. Along the Atrek River the following activity was reported:
a. All posts from Chat-i-Atrek (37-59N, 55-16E) t,.Gud:ari (37-37N, 54-45E)
have been issued new motorized vehicles (in replacement of vehicles
used to date) and inflated rubber boats.
b. Six heavy bombers flew over I3aiat Haji (37-40N, 54-45E) on 28 May 1950.
