1. At a meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (CPI)
in Calcutta between 3 and 8 June 1960, B. T. Ranadive was rofinitely re-
moved from power* and the entire CPI Politburo was dissolved. The rank
and file of the Central Committee was responsible for the dissolution.
