Troops in the Kwangju area are moving by foot, living off the land and are
reported to have low morale.
North Korean troops entered Mokpo on 24 July.
Guerrilla activities in South Kyongsang Province on 22 July were the
following:
a0 An estimated 28 North Korean soldiers entered. the village of Nolchoa=
donga Chungobang V yon; approximately 200 went into this mountains in
the Kobyon area (12906,, 36-3;6j 80 went to Irwoldong (approximately
129-10, 36446); and approximately 300 were moving down from Pudong
Myon (approximately 129=12, 3637)
