does not definitely indicate t;hether the planes arrived
in boxes at the Laerz airfield but fro,-,-, the information
that one plane was partially unpacked it is possible, If
this assumption is confirmed it rwast be concluded that the
around attack unit arrived frorr. ou.tsido of the ;ovict
one of 'ermany. No reports have been received indicating
that a ;round attack unit previousl r stationed in the
;soviet one of Lcrmany was transferred to Laerzk In addi-
tion to this possible around attack unit, two fighter regi-
nonts equipped with IA-9s and type 14, Jet planes, are still
stationed at the field. Ale planes of both types counted at
the .field do not represent the total atrength of the two
fighter regiments o a,ccordinG to previous reports the two
regiments are equipped with at least 5;3 jet planes and an
unknovan number of 1A-9s.
