11 Present production at the Sachsenwerk Radeborg (SAG "Kabe] is about fifty
"Stuttgart" sets per month. These operate on a ware length of 20 cm., with
a band width of 200 KHz,
It is planned to improve the set as follows:
a. Increase power from 1 ~ to 2 watts n
b. Increase the band width from 200 Idlo-Hext z to 6 mega-Hertz.
Cr, Reduce the lave length from 20 cm to 5 cm,
d,, Increase the number of charnels from 8. to an unknown number,
3. The Oberepreeerk has been asked to design a clystron for use in the
improved set,,

It is believed that the new sets are to be used to relay television transmissions
from studios in Berlin to a projected transmitter on the Brocken. The DDR
attaches great propaganda value to the early construction and operation of
this television transmitter.
