2. Work is to start shortly on the following types of research and equipment:
a. Infrared research for night-fighting equipment, especially tanks.
b. Altitude meters ; for airplanes.
a. Geological survey equipment to be used from high altitude planes.
3? Negotiations are also at present in progress for the production of gyroscopes
by the Zeiss firm which is reluctant to undertake the project since it is con-
sidered too great a financial risk.
