to The Schkeuditz (MS2/E 12) airfield was still unoccupied and un-
carded. Police sentries occasionally patrolled the field. The
obstacle lights, Which were intact, were tested by the responsible
firms once a 'Month by order of the local Volkspolizei. The bounda-
ry lights Were not intact. The underground fuel containers More
still there, but the parts above ground were destroyed0 The flight
control station was vacant and the windows and doors wore partially
destroyed or stolen.
