Ninety to one hundred single-engine ground attack planes with a singled strut landing gear and a directional loop antenna forward of the rudder assembly were observed at the Doehsritz (N S3/Z 65) airfield betaeen 9 a.m. and 12: 30 p.m. on 31 July 1950. * Fifty of the planes had the upper edge of the rudder asserablies painted blue and were parked on the northern edge of the field, along the 11a;: Highway, ** T'iiirty five to forty planes were standing in wedge formation in the center of the field, and 6 to 10 planes were parked in front of the hangars on the southern edge of the field. The painting on the aircraft in the center of the landing field could not be determined, 2. The planes on the northern edge of the field -.,Pere refueled at 9 a.m. The ;round around the Manes in the center of the landing field was watered with a large hose.
