THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFO' MATION 1 By -- 4 July 1950 the Afghan Trade flission, which had been in Mo -cow since April, had not reached final agreement with the o--r.ets over t'f',e Barter 'T'rade Agreement which they were negotiating.* 2. An official of the Afghan r.inistry^ of I'Tntional 71cononry, who is handling all 3. the queries which are being reed back to Kabul, stated th.:it the Fission would probably return Lo Kabul in early August.** The same official stated that -!.n the barter agreement t^hich he hoped would finally be signed, Afghan raw ncterials such as wool and skins would hare to be suprlied by private uoripanies. lie also said that Vie delay in the negotiations was partly cased by the fact that questions concerning prices had continually to be referred to the companies concerr.t.;d by the ;Tinistry of Economy. 4.
