THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
%il Lovlien, Chairman of the Norwegian Coamnist Party, arrived at
Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen, fraan Warsaw on 21 August 1950. He was
met by Mieczysl.aw LakoW, Second Secretary of the Polish Legation
in Copenhagen. Lovlien and Lakew conferred for about an hour at
Havers Restaurant, then returned to the airport transit hall where
they talked briefly with an unidentified Polish-speaking mEZ:n.
Lovlien then returned to his plane and continued his journey to Oslo,
2. Another passenger on the plane which brought Lovlien from Warsaw was
Barbara NNiikolajczyk, born in Warsaw on 20 March 1927, who was travelling
with a child born in 1947. They were leaving by plane for New York
on the evening of 21 August,. and Mikolajozyk obtained permission to
aeca ,ny Nieesyslaw Lakowy to the Polish Legation while waiting for
her rlane? No contact between Emil Loviien and Barbara Mik?1a czyk
was observed.
