1.. It was observed at the Neuruppin (ii 53/z 49) airfield on 23 and 29 July
1953 that the section of the runway along yIittstoclcer /.llee had apparent-
ly been completed. (1) The concrete mixers had been moved farther west.

3. All but a strip of 150 meters on the E-W runway had been concreted. The
light poles on the northern edge of the runway had been removed. (l )
Excavating was being done between the eastern section of the new runway
and the larding field.. {3) The length of the new runway is estimated to
