1, In early June 1950 two junction curves were being constructed
south southtiost of Bi.esdorf (N 53/Z 95). On 8 August 1950 it was
learned that these curves had been completed.
2, A now junction curve was being constructed northeast of Ldesdorf.
The surveying was completed on 5 and 6 august 1950, work being done
on Sunday? The project is being rushed as much as possible,, The track
of the Berlin elevated railroad system which runs on the same enbank-
ment will be lowered so that it can be crossed by the now junction
curve.
3- ':ork on the construction of a now junction curve was started between
Raulscbrf (N 53/Z 95) and Biesdorf on 12 June 1950. This project is
to eliminate switching operations at the KauLlsdorf, flerlin/Lichtonberg
(N 53/Z 95) and Berlin/1'~lsburg (N 53/Z 94) railroad stations thus
facilitating o,-aerations on the pertinent section of the Berlin Outer
Freight Ring,

Comment? The two newly built junction curves improve the
connec ons etween the eastern section of the Berlin Outer Freight
Ring and the Borlinn--Kuestrin (0 53/v 66) and Berlin-Frankfurt/Oder
25X1 A (0 53/V 63) trunk lines,
