The Chilean government gave official warning to the authorities of various Latin American governments that the following Chilean gypsies are con- sidered to be active Communists: 3. 4. ticola Llefimo, Nicolich, Dasabich, Aristide, California, Aristich, Iclich, Flores, Bagdanovich, ;?arcovich, Tarincovich. 2. A source in 1 Salvador reports that'Chilean gypsy,, Bello Nicoliah . Bagdancvich0 in company w?., th three adults ane three c'.ildren all using Nica1ich as sur- name,, obtained passage to Panama on Pan American Airways Flight 701, leaving San Salvador on 4 October 1950. They have reservations for Guayaquil, :;cuador, on PAA Flight 337 on 5 October. All passports have a visa for Lima, Peru. Sources in San Falvador were unable to confirm Communist connections dur- ing the stay of these persons in El Salvador. Previous information from Honduras, dated 28 June 1950, reported that the Chilean gypsies listed in th3 first paragraph would not be allowed to enter Honduras, following an official warning frcm the Chilean government. Available information indicated that these -ersons, appare3ntly listed only by last names, had been ordered out of Guatemala and had proceeded by rail to El Salvador. On 9 September 1950, Peruvian consular authorities advised that visas should not be issued to the families of California, 1 arineovich, P:icolich and Pantich. 6. Previous Information received 12 April 1949, stated that one Pedro L.
