CONSTITUENT PROTOCOL
Because of the recent developments and for the purpose of safeguarding
the purity of the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union, a group of refugee
agrarians convened this day, April 30, 1950, and examined the question
of establishing an agrarian organization in Greece. In consideration of
the rules and articles of the by-laws and of the principles of the
Bulgarian National Agrarian Union, all the right-thinking agrarians
declared themselves in favor of the need of establishing the organization,
which will look after the maintenance of the purity of the Bulgarian
National Agrarian Union, giving aid to all the genuine Bulgarians who want
to unite their efforts with the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union against
Conuinunism? Our organization will have the heavy task of facing, the
provocations of the pseudo-agrarians and the various leftist elements,,
uncovering their secret aims of leading our tormented people to new
disasters. The newly-established organization will stand at the fore-
front of the liberation campaign from Greece in cooperation with all
the democratic anti-Communist formations for the defeat of Communisn,
the all-time enemy of the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union and the
disgraceful oppressor of the Bulgarian peopled
The unanimous vote of the constituent members is to stigmatize the action
of the pseudo-agrarians as anti-democratic and as being opposed to the
by-laws of the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union.
In ;view of tho ,great task the Bulgarian National Agrarian Union has
before it for the preservation of democracy, the assembly:

Greece under the leadership of Petko D. Petkov, the national hero
of the peasants and combatant of the national right.
