l0 1. Soviet tank column of about 150 tanks moved westward through Dudapest from
about 1 a.m. on 16 July 1950. It proceeded alonC Podmanitzky Street,eant
of the Danube River and crossed Margaret Bridge aryl Snell Ka1n.-ri Square.,

2. Soviet troops arrived in Niskunhalas (Y 6/N 70) on 29 July 1950. Many troops
-vaere in town and occupied many private quarters.
