THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. A Hong Kong resident received a letter written in early September 1950 from
his son in Changchun (12520, 43-53), where he was assigned as a political
worker attached to a regiment of the I Field Army. the letter stated that
he was being sent to Korea soon along with some Japanese and Koreans.
2. A second letter, received in Hong Kong in early October and datelined
Pyongyang, stated that he had arrived in that city.
