1, Before 1 September the NKPA mined the long high hill west of the road
between Yangyang (128?38, 38-014) and Sorizn ni (12$32, 37-58). An
unknown number of civilians were killed by the mines in that area before
1 September.
2. The hill is a plateau, regular in contour running through a gap in the
mountains.,langyang. It is passable for troops and armor and is the
best north-south route in that immediate area other than the road,
3, The narrow trails used by farmers and oxcarts through the defiles
west of the Ykngyang - Saar-nt road and the road itself were not mined as
of 15 September,
