1. On 9 October 1950 the following units of the 24th Air Arty were observed opemt-
ins from their usual fields:
One fighter regiment at Zerbst.
One ground-attack regiment at Stendal..
One reconnaissance regiment at Stendal.
A fighter division headquarters at Peenemtnde.
2. An unidentified unit wee observed in the vicinity of Dievenow (1462).
3. On 10 October flying activities were intensified. The following units were
confirmed:

One fighter regiment each at T,drz, Parohim, Oroseenhain, Alt-L8nnewitz,
Dessau,11eubrandenburg, and Zerbst.
Fighter. division headquarters at Alts-Lgnnevitz.
Two fighter regiments in the vicinity of Neuruppin, which were previously
located at Brandenburg and Zerbst.
A bomber regiment at Finsterwalde or Weizow.
One reconnaissance regiment at Stendal.
Bomber and ground-attack regiments held a joint exercise. A fighter runt
from Zerbet reconnoitered columns of ground troops.*

Comuaent: The air-force exercises are believed to be connected with the
current large-scale manoeuvres in the BrandenburgDessau-Belzig area.
