Between 10 and 18 October 1950 the daily volume of leave traffic passing through Frankfurt/Oder averaged 310 men going to Brest Litovsk and 410 men returning. Only one leave train arrived in and departed from Frank- furt daily. 2. An undetermined number of motor vehicles and 32 tanks belonging to the 18th Mechanized Division roved into the ileue Kaserne, Parchim, on 12 October. 3. One west-bound train composed of 58 boxcars crossed the border at K srain on 16 October and proceeded toward Cottbus via Frankfurt/Oder.* unidentified tank troops held field exercises in the area west of Uiesenburg in the period preceding 14 October. No Sov- iet troops were seen in 1-Tiesenburg or Belzig on 17 October.#" An undetermined number of trucks and 17 tanks were detrained in Frankfurt/- Oder on 17 October. On 18 October a troop train composed of eight boxcars and five flatcars passed between Lieberose and Flrstenwalde via Frankfurt/- Oder."' About 250 troops, 14 mortars and 35 trucks of the 12th Guards Tank Division were loaded on a 'rain in Neuruppin the night of 19 October. The destination of the shipment was not determined. 7. At 3:00 r.m. on 19 October the Juterbog-Altes Lager airfield was reoccupied by 25 to 28 IL-101s.
