1o A lovs-w:ng monoplane with an in-line engine was still at the~Jueter-
bog-~iltes Lager (1-1 9) on area
trucks with a ar7e of the field.
2. The runway was bordered by light poles and cable supports and there-
fore was not serviceable. Iost of the laborers were grading the
southern section of the landing field. The unloading,facilities
for railroad cars were still on the eastern edge. A laborer said
that the number of workers was reduced to about 350 after the r y
was completed. The workers changed shifts at 12:30 p.m. A biplane
with an uncovered radial engine and a cockpit for four to six men
circled the fi.eld at 12:40 p.m.
