1. The sirens in the Fuchsberg; Kaserne, Jueterbog 4N 52/E 69). sounded a practice
alert at 2030 p0rn0 on 29 August 1950. Leiter about 10 minutes the first truci
left the barracks. They drove in groups of 5 to 10 trucks, each ocauried
by about, 30 officers and ia:"0 Three trucks, carr~rinE a load of beams., left

9,. The gate at the w.T a}.rfield was closed on 31 August 1950. Only a guard sat
at the guardhouse, A guard detail of 13 men marched toward the target ranges.
Only a few soldiers were seen in front of the barracks behind the mess build-
ing. 'our windows of one building and eight windows of another were lighted
in the evening.
10. Four trucks with AT guns., coning from the direction of Luckenwalderetrasse,
entered 0amr airfield on 2 September 1950.
11. On 5 September 1950 residents of Baruth (I3 53/E 99) said that Soviet tank
troops had been practicing in the area north of Paplitz, Lynow and Stuelpe
of September 1950. Infaz try and artillery units were
since the beginning
not observed among the troops. (8)
12. Thirty trucks with 18 guns and three field kitchens, moving in three groups,
entered the Turnf:sserne on 1 September 1950, coming from the direction of
Altes Lager. The trucks of the first group carried soldiers wearing red-
bordered black epaulets, six on each truck, and towed 75-mm guns. In the
second group each truck was occupied ':?y six soldiers wearing red bordered.
black epaulets and towed guns of approximately 88 min caliber. 11'hetrucks,
and towed 75 mm AT guns. They were followed by three unnumbered armored recon-
naissance cars. The truck convoys were received in the Turm Kaserne by a
military band. (9)
13. Forty trucks, 25 towing one heavy mortar each, left the Gruena loading ramp
on 2 September 1950. They proceeded in five groups at intervals of about
300 meters, going to Kloster Zinna and Luckenwalde on the Oruena-Zinna high-
way. Each group consisted of five mortars, one truck with field kitchen and
one truck with about 30 officers. Each of the trucks towing mortars was occu-
pied by four soldiers wearing red bordered black epaulets. The following truck
