1. The ?'Jerab?d SIM unit in Joachimethal (Jachymov) is distributed for duty
with the various mines of the Joachimsthal district and is charged chiefly
with the mission of guarding the forced labor camps (Tabor nuceni grace)
(T`i,P).
2. One of these camps is situated at Vrsek (":terlsberg) Which is 4 km northwest
of Joachi.;:sthal and is occupied by 300 to 350 internees. The camp commander
is 31713 master ser;eant(st. strasmistr. S1:B) Frantisek Malina. The guard
detail in this camp is co.-posed of 23 ;ien. Informing for the purpose of
gainin? personal privileges is so widespread in the cap that the slightest
offenses are ';- rought to the attention of the camp commander? Prarticularly
active infora:^.az is are temporarily given the privilege of seems their next
of-kin outside the camp on Sundays. even SPTB guards are sometimes denounced
b- internees for negligence of duty. Though the internees are paid for their
work, after deductions for food and quarters have been ::wade they receive
only 50 to CO Czech crowns per months
3. Two other campsin the sane district are Elias Camp and the Dul Darbora Lampe
the latter being located in the immediate vicinity of the Vrsek Camp.
