According to information obtains the Frankfurt/ July, 19509 all locomotive colunnu no stationed in `ransc ur Rer Will be deactivated. The railroad shop inspector in Oberschoeneweide took over the materials and spare parts of this column.. The value of this material, which is in very good condition, is estimated at 20,000 D,o Contrary to stari card procedures, the material was taken over ithout accounting. Locomotives were not taken over. (3) 25X1 4. Locomotive I in Pasew.alk (N. 54/Q 16) aid 0 in Angermuende (11 514/ 25X1 Q 20) were deactivated on 1 Augrust 1950. Twenty-nine engines of Locomotive 25X1 and 27 engines of Locomotive I Iwere transferred to 25X1 Stre,sbur Uckermark (P: 514/U 96) and parked there. Six engines remained in Pasebaalk and 12 in Angernuende for temporary storage but they 'd 11 later be transferred to Strasburg. The locomotives in Strasburg are kept cold and are guarded. (4) 5. On 14 August 19501 in Yarow (N 53/Z 96) 25X1 that 70 reserve locomotives are to oe pars a tz (s 53/Z 97) rail- road station north of :sernau (N 53/Z 96). They had previously been in the area of Berlin. It is being deactivated, (12) Accordin to an SCC order, the engines end the coaches of the locomo- tive columns earmarked for deactivation will be overhauled and then "conserved". Each deactivated cc.1ua-rn will assign a guard detail of 15 men for these stored locomotives and coaches. (13) The central operations office for all locomc.tive columns which, on 1C August 1950, was in Berlin-Lichtenberg vi ll be transferred to jFrankfurt/Oder along with Locomotive (311) 7. On 20 August 1950 a long track cf the rvaednitz marshaling yard, which was not dismantled will be used for the m rking of the 70 reserve loco- motives which were expected. Switches to connect this track with the main line have not yet been laid, The tv7o groups of locomotives seen on 14 August 1950 were on e. siding at the passers er station. The engines are in a very good ccriditiono The connecting rods had been removed but fastened by wires to the sidss of the boilers. Metal parts were wrapped with oil paper; valves, ;cnerator etc. were boarded up. The locomotives are guarded.
