1,. The Greek guerrillas who were sent to Czechoslovakia following the Gram r-S
campaign were afflicted with physical disorders ostensibly resulting frog:.
a strange explosion, and were conmitted to various Czech hospitals,,
2, It is reported that medical examinations and observation of the Grammos
fighters, as well as the depositions submitted by the partisans to the
Czechoslovak Ministry of Defense, have failed to clarify the nature of
the exrlosion in Gram os,a
3., A total of 8,000 Greeks including men, women, and children, are now said
to be living in Czechoslovakia; the exact number of Gramrnlos fighters,, however,
cannot be ascertained, When initial efforts to place the men in the agri-
cultural work in the frontier area failed, these Greeks were assigned to
three camps where they receive quarters, food, and a moutbly allotment of
1,500 crowns for pocket money, The largest camp is at Svatoborice u Kyuova
in Moravia, the second in the Orlici Mountains (Adlergebirge) in Bohemia,,
and the third is located along the Sazawa River.
