A general staff for the Territorial Defense Command exists, but no information relative to its organization is presently available, 3, The following anti-aircraft defense units of the Territorial Defense Command have been idenatif ied: a. Ploeatis 4 1 11 Regiments of 1 Anti..Aircraf?t Division 01 , , . b. C?ampina: Detachment of 11 Regiment. The mission of 1 Anti-.Aircraft Division is the protection of the Ploe sti oil fields. c. Bucharest: 1, 2, and 3 Regiments of 2 Anti-Aircraft Division. The mission of 2 Anti-Aircraft Division is the protection of Bucharest. The divisional command post has been set up in the Parcul Carol section of the capital, in a shelter built during the recent war. Gun emplace- ments have been selected. Anti-aircraft artillery has been installed in a circle around Bucharest with the greatest concentration of weapons near an unidentified railroad station. One aircraft warning regiment of three battalions (number unkncw n). One battalion of this re;inent covers the Dobrudja and the Danube to the east of Giurgiu. The remaining battalions cover the Danube west of Giurgiu and the area to the hIungarian frontier, All communications equipment is installed and is in working order. g. Baneasa. forest, near Bucharest: The headquarters of the deputy cornnander for intelligence has boon set up in this forest. All corniunications facilities have been installed and are in working order. The organization of territorial units has been started. One battalion has already been activated.
