The take-off toot-, about 20 minutes. "' aircraft assembled in formations of C to 10 planes and headed north through the entrance gate to the field. 1. At 1:20 p.m. on 22 September 1950 a west--bound, law-wing monoplane with radial engine flew over 5choenwal de {g) 53/7, 66) at an altitude between 300 and 400 meters. It rained occasionally and the cloud base was low. The plane was. of a type which has not been seen before. Description: leading edge of wings swept back, trailing edge straight, tips rounded, landing gear 50X1-HUM probably retractable, rod.on top of fuselage a engine similar to that of a U-2 plane, slow. * Track passed ore was no flying a the field up to 500 p.m. when the formation landed. The landing took 40 minutes.
