to Launching sites for guided missiles are being constructed by Sovromconstrucjie
on the high plain between Mounts Caraiman and Omulo in the Bucegi range (South
Carpathians). The altitude of the plain is about 29300 meters, The plain is
invisible from all surrounding communities, the only access is by mountain
paths or telpher span from Busteni. All construction material is brought in
by telpher.
