25X1 X Comment. This is presumably another stop the 13CP is taking to
tighten its discipline and prevent surrenders from its own and PVO
ranks, following the surrender of over 2,000 PVOs in Pegu District in
a single week late in July 1950.

comment, For details of a PVO meeting on 25X1 A
to discuss the surrender question, see 25X1A
omunent, It vill be noticed that communications are the sole
target. Nothing shows +hat the instructions issued in June 1950 for
the sabotage of government stores and patrol dumps have been put into
effect.
