The following projects are to included in the Five Year-Plans
1. Metallurgical Industry:
a, A new mixer plant is to installed at the works producing Thorias steel
at the Maxhtitte.. Untercvellenborn.
b. Extensions are to be made at the rolling mills at Brandenburg, Doohien,
and Hoffmann Ct Motz, Eberstvalde.
c. New iron ?tee mines are to be developed at Unterwellenborn, the Harz
Mountains, and Mansfe ld .
d. The mining of copper at Sangerhausen is to be increased to 1.5 million
tons per year in 1955.
e, Lead ore is to be mind at Freiberg.
f, Zinc is to be mined in the Erzgebirge.
g. Nickel is to be mined in Saxony.
2. Chemical Inndustxy (Production is to be increased by 182 per cent in 1955).
a. One new lime kiln will be installed at Stassfurt and one at Bernburrg.
b. One large sulphuric acid plant rr3.1l be built T;hich will be run with
how--produced gyps,
c, One new plant to increase the production of phosphate fertilizer by
EO per cent will be built.
