1, The courier service between the Foreign Ministry in Ducharest and the Rumanian
missions abroad is still being maintained according, to the pattern established
after the end of the war in 1915.
2? The two official Rumanian couriers who travel the Bucharest-Paris run on the
Arlberg Express Train to not interrupt their journey wile passing through
S ritzerlandg They carry all of the courier mail for the Rumanian Embassies in
the "asto Either at the Zurich or Basle station they are met by an embassy offi-
cia.l to whom, they hand the courier bagsa The embassy official from Berne travels
by automobile to meet the train at the station previously announced by telegram
and simultaneously hands over the nail from the embassy to the Bucharest Foreign
Ministry. The courier, an official of the Foreign Ministry, is accompanied by
an agent of the orviciul Secret, the secret service of the Prime Minister"ts
Office,

The last Rurnanidn courier to come directly to Switzerland was one Bogdan, (fnu)r
who arrived three months ago and was said to have been on his way to Geneva
where hews scheduled to participate in an international conference. Bogdan
holds a prominent position in the Rumanian Foreign Ministry and is regarded as
a confident of "nnsPaukcr.
