-1. Iteims of food for which ration cards are necessary were not distributed during
the month of S ept amber 1950.
At the prevent time even onions and potatoes are rationed. the first time
that these items have been rationed in Rumania. Each holder of a ration card
is entitled to five kilograms of onions and twenty.-five kilograms of potatoes
for the entire winter,
r There has been no distribution of fats and oil on ration cards since August
ISM, These its may be found with difficulty on the black market and
bring an !exorbitant price.
